That distance and multiple structures is exactly the kind of layout where a wired backbone matters more than it would on a smaller, single-structure lot.
For an NVR or DVR system, you can check live view and playback remotely from the Amp AV app any time, from anywhere, so you don't need to be on the property to confirm it's recording. We also size the hard drive so footage doesn't get overwritten too quickly between visits, and we can walk you through checking status remotely before you leave and again once you're back, so a system that's supposed to be watching an empty house for months at a time isn't running unmonitored.
