We plan that path first, because the room design means nothing if the signal can’t reliably get to it.
Screens, Displays, and Calibration Built Around Desert Light and Distance

We plan the backbone during the initial site walk, before any drywall goes up.
It does not rule it out, but it changes the screen and shade choices. Heavy desert sun and glare off west-facing glass washes out picture contrast on a standard screen, so we typically pair rooms like this with an ambient-light-rejecting screen and motorized shades that close automatically when the system starts. The room still gets full use during the day, and the equipment is chosen to work with the light instead of against it.
